Amisha Patel

Amisha is GOWA’s Executive Director, appointed to build and lead GOWA. She leads the alliance’s diplomatic and strategic policy direction and oversees operations. Amisha has over 20 years of global experience in energy and marine renewables and building initiatives and driving policy programs. She has worked across Europe, Asia, MENA, and the Americas, advising governments on offshore wind strategy and energy policy. Prior to GOWA, Amisha was Group Head of Public Affairs and Policy at Mainstream Renewable Power and held senior roles at Principle Power, Statkraft, ESB, and the Energy Industries Council where she built and led a global renewables division focused on trade. She has also served on several international industry boards and taskforces including Offshore Wind California, Renewable UK SB, the Marine Alliance BlueTech Cluster and currently FESSIA.
