Helena Li has been at the helm of Trina Solar as its Executive President since January 2023, steering global marketing and business promotion for the company’s product business. In this key role, she not only ensures that Trina Solar maintains its industryleading position but also propels the company towards rapid globalization.

An accomplished and globally-minded senior executive, Helena brings unique insights and extensive practical experience in enhancing market share and product competitiveness within the solar energy sector. Known for her strategic vision and commitment to excellence, Helena leads the global business team with a customer-centric approach, coordinating resources, fostering regional collaboration, and enhancing organizational vitality and team dynamics, solidifying the company’s position as a global leader in the smart energy sector. This spans key regions such as Asia-Pacific, China, Latin America, North America, Japan, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, as well as global key accounts.

Since joining TrinaSolar in 2013, Helena has been a stalwart in driving the company’s positioning as a total solutions provider. She held key positions including the President of Trina Solar’s global module and cell business, Head of Sales & Marketing, Global PV Product & Solution, President of APAC Region, playing a critical role in formulating and executing long-term strategies. Her leadership significantly contributed to the expansion of the company’s market share and influence in the global energy market, particularly across residential, industrial and commercial (C&I), and utility segments of the solar industry.

Throughout her career , Helena also held various senior leadership positions at various multi-billiondollar global companies in solar, semiconductor and IT fields, including Microsoft and Intel.

Helena holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai.
